Patricia Karen Gagic is an accomplished and celebrated International Contemporary Artist, Author, Humanitarian, and Speaker. She has been awarded and recognized for her writing, and metaphorically fused vivid abstract paintings she speaks of as ‘The Karmic Revolution.’ Gagic’s paintings are process-driven and reflect her connection to the world around her, and in particular, to the natural environment using the depth of each visual as a symbol of that within ourselves. She uses cool color hues to depict glacial landscapes, including ice melts and lakes, as well as warmer hues that resemble the northern lights.
Gagic’s artwork is a balance between the intense bold color palettes required for shadows and neutral tones that complement and make each canvas a soothing visual with the essence of a powerful silence often experienced in such elevated heights of nature. Her style derives from a creative perception of facing the challenges, dynamic richness, and quality that emerges from working with layered textures and shadows.
“Art is the essence of life. In every action we are creating with or without the canvas or chosen tools. Each moment of life is art. After spending many years questioning, examining and experiencing my process I am continually amazed at the depth of evolution which takes place. The balance between being in the moment and finding the truth or sage is the necessary impetus to reveal the wisdom within. Whether I am painting or photographing I believe our intentions reveal wisdom as a direct current to the conception of creation.”
